Keenan Allen Seemingly Has No Idea Mike McCarthy Doesn't Coach the Packers Anymore
By Thomas Carannante
You'd think Keenan Allen would have enough time to brush up on his football knowledge considering the Los Angeles Chargers disappointed yet again by missing out on the playoffs, but the star wideout still has some studying to do.
On Monday, after it was announced the Dallas Cowboys would be hiring Mike McCarthy as their new head coach, it appears as if Allen had no idea what was going on based on his since-deleted response to the news on Twitter.
Judging by this it seems he thought McCarthy was still coaching the Packers. Buuuut guess what buddy?! He's been out of the NFL for a year and Matt LaFleur has led the Pack to a playoff appearance. So no, McCarthy did not ghost the Packers during their postseason run to sign with the Cowboys.
This isn't the NCAA.
But IS this what he meant?
No, no ... there's NO way he thought the Cowboys had a playoff game coming up. No shot he's that misinformed!
Or maybe he's hitting the bottle in the afternoon. Can't blame him considering his offseason came much earlier than expected.
Perhaps Mr. Allen should be focusing on who will be throwing him the football next year, because if it's Tom Brady, the Chargers might have a shot at doing something.
