Kellen Moore Expected to Remain in Dallas as Offensive Coordinator Under Mike McCarthy
By Scott Rogust

The Dallas Cowboys have a new head coach in Mike McCarthy. As is the case with any new sideline boss, he will be bringing in his own coaching staff. However, it appears at least one figure from the Jason Garrett era will remain with the team under McCarthy.
According to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, Kellen Moore is expected to remain with the Cowboys in his current role as offensive coordinator.
#Cowboys OC Kellen Moore is leaning toward remaining with the team under Mike McCarthy, sources tell me and @RapSheet. Dallas is pushing hard to retain him and, while no final decision has been made, the expectation is he’ll stay.

As Garafolo states, the team is pushing hard to retain Moore in Jerry World, but nothing is finalized as of yet.
As Ian Rapoport reported earlier on in the day, Moore is considering joining the Washington Huskies as their offensive coordinator under new head coach Jimmy Lake, however, the interest from McCarthy could keep him in Dallas.
Update on #Cowboys OC Kellen Moore: New coach Mike McCarthy would like him to stay and remain OC, which may also help Moore learn a new system. But he also has an opportunity to go back home and become the University of Washington OC under Jimmy Lake. He is mulling it all over.

Under Moore this season, the Cowboys offense ranked first in total yards per game (431.5), first in yards per play (6.5), and sixth in points per game (27.1).
While things weren't always perfect under Moore, it's hard to justify ousting an offensive coordinator after a season with results like that. Despite missing out on the playoffs, it seems he impressed McCarthy enough to be given another chance on the coaching staff.
