VIDEO: Kendrick Perkins Apologizes to Russell Westbrook But Not Kevin Durant After Escalating Beef
By Michael Luciano

Kevin Durant, simply unable to lay off the Twitter beefs for longer than a few weeks, started tussling with his old teammate and ESPN analyst Kendrick Perkins about Durant's place in Oklahoma City Thunder history this week. Their beef grew into a pretty vitriolic back and forth, and Perkins went on TV to make amends with Westbrook for some comments he made about him in the thread. He stopped short, however, of saying he was sorry to KD, who has yet to play with the Brooklyn Nets this season.

Perkins and Durant started beefing over Perkins' value to the Thunder's Finals run. While Perkins contends that his physical style in the middle is what the Thunder needed to get over the top, Durant took shots at his lack of statistical production, and a lack of self-awareness as to how he fit on that team.

Hey, be fair! Perkins averaged 5.1 points per game!
Durant and Perkins, once inseparable, have ripped their friendship apart, and it is still not entirely clear who is in the wrong, or if there was even a winner in this. For a superstar who hasn't played yet in 19-20, and an analyst trying to make his name in the TV game, bickering on Twitter isn't the best hobby for either of them.
