ESPN hasn't made any effort to hide a love for Duke in their latest Bracketology projections. The No. 6 Blue Devils remain the number two seed in the projected East regional, despite an 88-66 loss to NC State last week.

Meanwhile, the No. 10 Kentucky Wildcats, who won both of their games last week against Florida and LSU, have dropped from the third seed in the South region to the fourth.

Cool!

Duke's 22-point loss last week came against on the road against an NC State team that is only .500 in conference play, and don't have a place secured in ESPN's current Bracketology projections.

Kentucky's 79-76 win against LSU last Tuesday was against a Tigers team that is currently the eighth seed in the West region, according to ESPN. Oh yeah, and the Wildcats pulled it off on the road.

ESPN has boasted a notorious bias for the Blue Devils for years. It's a bias made particularly famous by college basketball broadcaster Dick Vitale's notorious praise of Duke during broadcasts, as well as lead commentator Jay Bilas' affiliation.

In the case of the latest Bracketology projections, it seems like ESPN is once again out to keep up the image of their Blue Devils, and cloak a humiliating loss with undeserved praise. It's a shame it has to come at the expense of a Kentucky team coming off an impressive week, much more worthy of the gesture.
