Kentucky's Lynn Bowden Stirs the Pot Before Louisville Hate Week With Latest Quote
By Michael Luciano
It might have just been UT-Martin, but a 50-7 win has Kentucky riding high as they prepare to take on their most hated rival in their fight to become bowl-eligible. Wildcats utility man Lynn Bowden got Kentucky fans and players hyped up for their rivalry matchup against a much-improved Louisville team. When asked his feelings on what the Cardinals have done this season, Bowden remarked that they "don't say that name" down in Lexington.
I get that it's a rivalry week, but the Wildcats have their work cut out for them.
Scott Satterfield has been in Louisville for all of one season, and the former Appalachian State coach has taken this team from 2-10 in their last season under Bobby Petrino to 7-4 and a bowl game berth. Micale Cunningham, who has 25 total touchdowns against just four picks, will be one of the best quarterbacks this Kentucky defense has faced all year, and could be in for a big day.
Kentucky appears to have figured something out with Bowden basically running a single wing offense, so their annual tussle with Louisville is sure to be must-see this year.
