Having lost three of their last four games, LSU is desperate for a resume-building win to avoid falling deeper into the NCAA Tournament bubble. 11 of the last 12 games the Tigers have played have been decided by single digits.
Kentucky is trending in the opposite direction as LSU. The Wildcats have won eight of their last nine contests to make their return to the AP Top 25, and this week the top ten. Kentucky's final six regular games are no cake walk but it'll be able to lock up the SEC Tournament's No. 1 seed if it makes it out unscathed.

This matchup is Kentucky's to lose, though they'll have to play through an intimidating LSU crowd. The Tigers are still in search of their first win against a ranked opponent this season, but tonight seems like an ideal time for an LSU statement win.
