Kevin Durant Puts Kendrick Perkins in Body Bag for Calling Russell Westbrook Best Player in Thunder History

Kendrick Perkins has become a prominent member of the NBA media and has not shied away from sharing hot takes.
Perk spent five seasons with the Oklahoma City Thunder and decided to share his opinion on the greatest player in team history on the night Russell Westbrook made his return to his old arena. Perk went with Russ for that title and after a back and forth in the replies, Kevin Durant decided to jump in and eviscerate his former teammate.
Yea and our starting center @KendrickPerkins averaged a whopping 2 and 3 during that series. U played hard tho champ lol

So long, Perk.
Westbrook did spend more time with the Thunder than Durant. Yet, Perkins was talking about the best player to wear a Thunder jersey and not the best overall Thunder player.
The beef continued and it became clear why Perkins snubbed Durant in the first place.
Boy stop you did the weakest move in NBA History!!! Up on a team 3-1 in the western conference finals and then go join them the following season?! Heart of Champion right there

Perkins was not wrong about Durant making the weak move to join the Golden State Warriors. But it is hard to argue against Durant being the best player in Thunder history.
Weak is starting at center, playing real minutes with no production. Should’ve worked on your skills as much as I did

Choosing Westbrook instead is just petty, and Durant called out Perkins in the best way possible -- by stating facts.
