Kevin Durant Rumored to Have Sold California Home After Declining Player Option With Warriors
By Michael Luciano

Who would have guessed that following the real estate market would be the best way to predict where the best free agents in the NBA would sign this offseason?
After Kawhi Leonard-to-Toronto rumors flared up after Board Man purchased a massive house in the affluent York Mills neighborhood of Toronto, Golden State Warriors superstar Kevin Durant's house-hunting has led some to close the door on a return to the Bay area. Durant has allegedly sold his place in California and is rumored to have purchased a home in New York.

Rev up the KD to Manhattan/Brooklyn train.
Some Warriors fans, however, will chalk this up to Durant, a keen businessman, just trying to play the market and make some money. With the Warriors moving across the bay to San Francisco, many are speculating that he'll also purchase a home in California while keeping his business interests in New York.
His business is in New York. He’s going to be there all summer and while rehabbing. I feel like half his reason for staying w GSW is he loves living in SF

It certainly makes logical sense, but also sounds like desperate Golden State fans clutching at straws. With the "buying a home" box officially checked, KD looks that much closer to joining one of the two New York teams.
