VIDEO: Kevin Durant Seen Taking Shots at Nets Practice
By Michael Luciano
The Brooklyn Nets are patiently ticking down the days until Kevin Durant can return from his Achilles injury. Fans can at least take solace in the fact that KD seems to be progressing nicely in his rehab, however. The two-time Finals MVP was seen moving around reasonably well and taking shots at Nets practice Wednesday, and he has more spring in his step than he had shown previously.
The Nets have a well-regarded medical staff, and Durant's rehab progress is a affirmation of their efforts.
KD has been an ever-present figure on the Nets bench this season, and has seen the Nets go 3-4 so far in his absence. He's also seen Kyrie Irving flourish in Kenny Atkinson's system, as the former Celtic is currently putting up 31.7 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 7.7 assists per game.
The Nets might have a noticeable hole in the frontcourt, but they have the luxury of one of the three best players in the world coming back from an injury to plug that hole in due time.
And when Durant comes back, things are going to get wild at the Barclays Center.
