Kevin Durant Shuts Down Kendrick Perkins With the Ultimate Insult
By Alexander Wolz

Kendrick Perkins has been an active voice on social media and television ever since his playing career came to a close. And we all know that Kevin Durant is not one to shy away from a social media conversation either.
So, what happens when two of the NBA's most controversial voices bark at each other? Absolute entertainment.

There have been a variety of responses to Kyrie Irving's efforts to postpone the NBA season and advocate for social justice. Some have found it to be a valiant cause, while others see it as a misplaced call for attention.
Speaking on ESPN, Perkins spoke about Irving, saying, "right now you are the distraction ... you come out and you do something simply without talking to president Chris Paul or consulting with Michelle Roberts ... 'Let's sit out without a plan.' It makes zero sense and I totally disagree."
Perkins does not seem entirely against Irving's position, but rather, against him stepping forth without considering those in charge or developing a plan of action without basketball. Either way, Durant saw the clip and was not happy about it whatsoever.

Short and to the point in typical KD fashion. That was not enough though, as Durant needed to drive some more salt into the wound by taking a shot at Perkins' playing career, hoping to invalidate his opinion in the process. The post below was retweeted by Durant. Shots fired, again!

Durant clearly wasn't a fan of Perkins' comments and spoke up for his Brooklyn teammate as expected. But, did he really have to add in the extra jab at the end? Of course, otherwise, he wouldn't be KD.
