Another day, another guy taking shots at Brooklyn Nets superstar Kevin Durant. Rather than random 15-year-old kids on Twitter, Durant found himself the target of pointed criticism from Golden State Warriors GM Bob Myers.

Myers claimed that the 2017-18 squad, which landed Durant his second title and the Golden State dynasty their third, lacked any sense of joy as they blitzed past LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers. Durant took issue with Myers devaluing his title, as he claimed on Instagram that everyone looked pretty happy in a picture of them raiding the Larry O'Brien Trophy.

Durant averaged almost 30 points per game in the playoffs as a Warrior, going 38-10 overall while winning two titles and two finals MVPs along the way.

Criticism from random dudes on Twitter is one thing, but passive-aggressive statements like this from Myers come off as really puzzling given how unprompted it was. Durant should feel a bit offended.

Durant's second title team might not have been holding hands and singing Kumbaya, but they did exactly what everyone new they would do as they ended up with consecutive titles. KD was right in the end, as getting fitted for a championship ring has to be a pretty joyful experience.
