Kevin Love’s Latest Comments Prove John Beilein’s Cavaliers Tenure Was a Complete Disaster
By Will Coleman

John Beilein's short time spent as head coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers was sloppy, to say the least.
The Cavaliers signed him to a five-year contract last May, and Beilein couldn't even make it through a full season in Cleveland. Beilein resigned less than two weeks ago and a lot of the blame was put on the players for lacking togetherness, but forward Kevin Love's latest comments go against that entirely.

Beilein claimed the players had it out for him from the get-go and that Cleveland's constant losing this season drove everyone farther apart. Sure, the Cavs have won just 17 of their 58 games so far this season, but Love doesn't think that's had any effect on the team's collective dynamic and chemistry.
Beilein is staying within the organization in an unspecified role while JB Bickerstaff is taking over as interim head coach. Since Beilein's resignation, the Cavaliers have won three of four games – including wins over the Heat and 76ers – to put to rest the idea that they were the problem.
"You see the leadership. You see the young guys. They're pushing one another. They're holding each other accountable. They're having real conversations to fix problems, and the environment and culture we're creating is growing."

With an interesting mix of veterans and young talent, the Cavaliers could not have responded better to the adversity and distraction that came with Beilein's falling out in Cleveland.
