Kirby Smart and Other Georgia Coaches and Players to Likely Self-Quarantine Due to New School Policy
By Brady Williams

As colleges continue to close around the United States, the University of Georgia has issued a self-quarantine protocol for any student or faculty member that has traveled internationally in the last 14 days. Head football coach Kirby Smart will probably be one of those people.
His wife, Mary Beth Smart, posted pictures of the Smart family on vacation in Costa Rica recently, which will certainly prompt concern.
BREAKING: Kirby Smart, some of his assistant coaches and some of his players will likely have to self-quarantine under the new campus-wide #UGA policy that went out this morning regarding international travel over spring break.

With preventative measures increasingly becoming a priority to stop coronavirus from spreading, this is hardly a surprise, especially after multiple sports leagues suspended their seasons and the NCAA called off the men's and women's tournaments.

While Smart likely has a busy offseason and will want to be recruiting, all athletics for UGA have been halted, as have visits for recruits. All of sports are on hold and everyone's health has taken centerstage, so expect Smart to be laying low for a couple weeks.
