Klay Thompson is one of the toughest players in the league. He has suffered several injuries throughout his career, but has played through them when he was needed. And this isn't just because he's playing for NBA championships, his toughness and tolerance for pain has been part of him since he was just a kid.

According Klay's father, Mychal Thompson, Klay once pitched a little league game with a broken foot at just 12 years old.

Mychal said that Klay didn't tell anyone that he had broken his foot and continued to play through the pain until people noticed that his foot "started turning colors and swelling up".

"He went out in pain and didn’t tell anybody because he wanted to play," Mychal told The Athletic, "He wouldn’t complain about it, and put up with the pain because he wanted to play with his friends in Little League.”

Klay is still displaying the same fortitude as he played through a hurt ankle against the Rockets in the Western Conference Semifinals, and had been lobbying to play in Game 3 of the NBA Finals despite injuring his hamstring, though he ultimately sat out.

Unfortunately, he can't simply hide his injury like he was in the little leagues, but don't be surprised if his toughness convinces the team to let him on the court.
