Klay Thompson's Dad Just Ruined NBA Free Agency Fun

For months, this summer's NBA free agency has been shaping up to be the story of a "Big Six" group of free agents: Kevin Durant, Jimmy Butler, Klay Thompson, Kyrie Irving, Kawhi Leonard, and Kemba Walker.

And it seems like we may have an answer to where one of the six will be heading, as Mychal Thompson, Klay's father, has given a pretty definitive answer about his son's future.

Come on, Mr. Thompson! Klay has long been linked with teams like the Lakers, he looked set for a huge payday, and it was his time to exit if he felt like he had done all he could at Golden State.

Even though Klay re-signing With the Dubs was probably what most expected, we still didn't want this spoiled for us weeks before free agency began! There were so many other possibilities we could have come up with!

Then again, after his injury, you'd have to think the Warriors have leverage. They can offer him a supermax and he'd be inclined to take it given the severity of his knee issue coupled with the long road back to recovery.

We can only hope Klay comes back healthy and is the same lights-out scorer he was before his injury, regardless of where that is next season.
