Klay Thompson to Reportedly Be in 'Space Jam 2' With LeBron James

A few years back, it was announced that a "Space Jam 2" would be in the works for a July 2021 release with LeBron James replacing Michael Jordan as the lead. Up until now, there haven't been many updates regarding who will make up the rest of the cast.
It appears as if James has a fellow NBA star joining him for the highly-anticipated movie, and fans are going to love this.
Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson appears to be "locked in" for one of those roles, according to reports.

While it's unclear what role he'll play, he's been one of LeBron's most fierce opponents in recent years, so that can only mean one thing...
Klay has plenty of star status to fill a Monstar role, and his part in the Warriors' championship dynasty definitely adds to the character identity as a part of a seemingly unbeatable team.

Whichever role he plays, Klay should be a great addition for the new Space Jam family and it will be exciting to see who else joins the cast alongside him and LBJ.
