VIDEO: Knicks Take In-Game Entertainment to Next Level With Funny New York-Themed Race

The New York Knicks had an absolutely enthralling event during a break in Monday's win over the Cleveland Cavaliers. Two children, John and ZeZe, were pitted in a battle of speed, dexterity, and calm under pressure that involved running down the court and putting on a different article of clothing at each quarter of the hardwood. These articles of clothing were, in order, a white t-shirt, baggy jeans, and an oversized Timberland boots to complete the iconic New York look.

After running down the court and putting on the apparel, the kids had to dribble a basketball back down the hardwood and complete a layup. In the end, girls won this round, as John fell behind in the first stage of the clothing section and could never make up the lost time. 30 seconds after the initial bell, ZeZe sank a layup from the left block to secure the win.

It was all winners Monday night for the Knicks in the Garden, as the Cavaliers were handled with ease behind 30 points from Julius Randle.

The light-hearted and fun competition, as well as the relatively easy Knicks win, was a welcome change of pace in the Garden, as the previous New York home game included the return of Kristaps Porzingis, who did not receive a warm welcome upon his return with the Mavericks.
