Knicks Tag Wrong RJ Barrett in Congratulatory Message and the Guy's Latest Tweet is an NSFW Disaster
By Michael Luciano
The New York Knicks are continuing their quest to keep outdoing themselves in terms of ineptitude. On the floor, they're getting blown out and starting fights. Off the floor, they can't even congratulate their franchise superstar on making the Rising Stars game.
The Knicks didn't tag RJ Barrett on their congratulatory tweet, but instead tagged some random guy who hasn't tweeted since his last raunchy post in 2011.
Im just going to out on a limb here and say that's a pretty big mistake. ALWAYS proofread everything you write, and congratulatory tweets are no exception.
Most of the former Duke star's tweets are about fellow Canadians hooping in college, his alma mater, or the Knicks. The account the Knicks tagged has some really questionable posts about women, specifically actress Rosario Dawson, and Middle Eastern people. You won't get to see them here, becuase they don't deserve to be amplified.
Rather, let's keep laughing at the Knicks, who continue to be the NBA's equivalent of Sideshow Bob continuously stepping on rakes and hitting himself in the face.
@RJBarrett is some random dude in Kennasaw, Ga. with a couple of really racist and creepy tweets on his profile who has logged off for almost a decade. @RJBarrett6 is a future star on the Knicks. Hopefully this is the last time they make this mistake.
