Never Forget When Kobe Bryant Destroyed Jalen Rose With 2 Words 7 Years After 81-Point Game
By Michael Luciano
Kobe Bryant wasn't the most gregarious guy in the world in life, nor was he what we would call a Twitter comic. Still, that didn't stop him from scorching his NBA foes just a badly as he did when he cooked them on the court.
Bryant's career-defining game might be his 81 point outburst against the Toronto Raptors, a game in which Jalen Rose was primarily defending him. When asked way back in 2013 by Shaquille O'Neal if he knew that he would go off when he saw that Rose was going to be on him, Kobe burned Rose with just a two-word response.
He really never let Jalen live that down.
Bryant's Twitter, which made its final post just two days ago when LeBron James passed him on the all-time scoring list, was a constant source of candor, comedy, and life lessons from one of the wisest minds we've seen in the game over the last few years.
Oh yeah, and he'd roast you when you needed a good roasting.
Kobe was never the loudest or most outgoing person on social media, but his wit stayed with him until the day he died. We'll miss Bryant taking little jabs at Rose and other fellow NBA contemporaries on Twitter.
