Kris Bryant gets amazing return to Wrigley Field

Friday marked quite the homecoming for third baseman Kris Bryant. The former Chicago Cubs superstar is now donning a San Francisco Giants jersey, but that doesn't mean he's not loved at Wrigley Field.

The local fans in Chicago made that much clear in the opening game of the Cubs-Giants series, as Bryant got quite the ovation from the fans.

Bryant was brought to tears and it's not hard to understand why. The city as a whole meant so much to him. In 2016, he helped end the curse, as the Cubs won the World Series. Wrigley will surely always hold a special place in his heart.
