Kyle Allen Appears on Panthers' Injury Report With Shoulder Ailment
By Scott Rogust

The Carolina Panthers are Kyle Allen's team now after Cam Newton was placed on season-ending injured reserve due to a lingering foot injury. However, Allen showed up on the team's injury report on Wednesday.
Allen was a full participant in practice, but still appeared on the injury report with a reported knock to his throwing shoulder. While he didn't miss out on any reps at practice, the designation on the injury report indicates he has undergone some sort of treatment on the shoulder.

Panthers fans know all too well about shoulder injuries to their starting quarterback. Newton was shut down last season due to issues with his throwing shoulder, resulting in undergoing arthroscopic surgery this past January.
There's been no indication that Allen won't be good to go for Sunday's game against the 7-2 Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field.

Allen has started in six games this season, throwing for 1,291 yards, nine touchdowns, and four interceptions and completing 60.7% of his pass attempts. The second-year signal caller's play gave the Panthers the luxury of not having to rush Newton back from injury, who was struggling to recover from his lisfranc issues.
While he did receive treatment, Allen will make the trip and get the start against Aaron Rodgers in the Frozen Tundra.
