Kyle Kuzma and His Family May Have the Best Christmas Story of All
By Jerry Trotta
If you are someone who can't get enough of feel-good Christmas reunions, boy, do we have a story for you.
To say that pursuing a career in professional sports demands sacrifices would be an understatement. We can't even fathom how much one must give up in order to reach those heights.
For Kyle Kuzma, his pursuit of making it to the NBA has cost him spending Christmas with his family each year since 2012. Well, that streak will end on Wednesday.
Kuzma will be surrounded by his family in Los Angeles before they dart to the Staples Center to watch him feature in tonight's mouthwatering showdown between the Lakers and Clippers.
"I don’t think Kyle has even had a Christmas tree since he left for prep school," said his mother, Karri Kuzma. "He has made a lot of sacrifices to get where he is. So, it will be special just to give him a special holiday of family and togetherness."
"Those years of holidays and birthdays not spent together definitely allow us to appreciate each other more and not take one another for granted. Sometimes the best Christmas presents do not have to be material or cost a lot of money. Just spending time together this holiday season will be priceless," she continued.
This is genuinely amazing and we wish nothing but smiles for the Kuzma family on this holiday.
There is simply only one bow to place on top of this unforgettable present: Kuzma showing out against the Clippers in primetime.
