Kyle Kuzma Claims Lakers-Clippers Playoff Series is Inevitable Because That's How NBA Makes Money
The Los Angeles Lakers took care of business against the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday in what seems to be a clear postseason preview. The two teams stand atop the Western Conference with the Lakers holding down the top spot with a comfortable lead of over six games.
Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma also expects a Lakers-Clippers matchup. However, he considers it a ploy on the part of the NBA.
Kuzma is not wrong. NBA fans will certainly tune in to watch such a star-studded playoff series. The only thing is that it may not take a scheme to get the matchup ready. The Lakers and the Clippers are already the two top teams in the West.
The Clippers are currently seven losses behind the Lakers in the standings. That gives Kuzma and the Lakers plenty of confidence. Building the rivalry now only increases the hype heading into the postseason. It would take a massive upset for the NBA to lose out on this much-anticipated matchup.
Not to mention it would be the first time to the inner-city rivals ever met in the postseason, which would see LA set into a frenzy.
