Many critics were concerned how Murray's talents would translate to the NFL. Coming from Oklahoma, Murray previously played in a Big 12 Conference that is notorious for weak defenses.
Other doubters thought Murray was too short to be able to succeed in today's NFL. Murray is listed at 5-10, though his size hardly slowed him down.
Murray silenced all of his haters this season by using both his legs and his arm. Kyler became the second rookie in NFL history to throw for 3,500+ yards and run for 500+ yards.

While the Cardinals finished the season with a 5-10-1 record, that's an improvement from their record the previous year. With Murray at the helm, the Cards are only going to be getting better as the years go on.
