Kyrie Irving Returning and Already Causing Controversy After 3 Games is Exactly What the Nets Signed up for

The Brooklyn Nets' new star Kyrie Irving created drama during his time in Cleveland and in Boston, and Nets fans hoped that he would be happy playing with his hometown team without any issues. However, only three games after coming back from a shoulder injury, Irving is already starting up trouble.

After Wednesday night's loss to the Philadelphia 76ers, Irving put down many of his teammates, saying that the pieces on the team were not sufficient in order to compete for an NBA title, and that the team might have to "move pieces" in order to make that happen.

While new Boston PG Kemba Walker takes ownership of mistakes, Irving has repeatedly shifted the blame away to other parties. Irving shouted out teammates that he believed were the standouts on the team (putting the others down in the process), and, in doing so, missed one of the most important core pieces in Jarrett Allen, the team's 21-year-old big man. Allen is averaging 11.6 points and 9.7 rebounds while shooting 65.7% from the field (all career highs) in less than 27 minutes per game.

Furthermore, Kyrie was the worst player on his team Wednesday night against the Sixers, shooting 6-for-21 and owning a plus-minus almost three times as bad as anyone else on his team.

The Nets should have known that Irving is a moody player and has a history of calling out teammates to the media, disrupting the team's harmony. Sorry, Nets fans. This is exactly what you signed up for.
