Laker Fans Painted an Alex Caruso Mural in Los Angeles and it’s Amazing
The Lakers are back to their winning ways in 2019, currently sitting atop the Western Conference with an 11-2 record. Fans are loving the new-look Lakers, and they've rallied behind a rather unsuspecting member of the team.
As beloved as Anthony Davis is, he isn't the cult hero in Los Angeles. Instead, Alex Caruso plays that role. The role player has become a fan favorite in Hollywood, and fans showed their admiration for No. 4 with an awesome mural of him posterizing some of the best players in the league.
The mural, located in LA, depicts Caruso rising up to throw down a tomahawk dunk over Jamal Murray, James Harden, Devin Booker, Kawhi Leonard and Luka Doncic simultaneously.
Although Caruso may never make it to the famed "Laker Mount Rushmore," fans are sending a seemingly endless stream of support to the unlikely new third star in the City of Angels.
The newfound fame of Caruso may be due largely to memes, but the guard is earning his minutes for the leaders of the Western Conference.
He leads the Lakers in both defensive efficiency and charges taken, which are large indicators of why the Laker faithful love the scrappy guard.
Caruso is averaging 5.3 points and 2.3 assists across 20.3 minutes per game in his third season with the Lakers.
