VIDEO: Anthony Davis Licked His Hand and Immediately High-Fived LeBron James and Avery Bradley
By Scott Rogust

The coronavirus epidemic is beginning to affect the professional sports world in the United States in a big way. Leagues have suggested players refrain from shaking hands with fans or signing autographs. In fact, the NBA is considering playing some games in empty arenas if the outbreak gets out of hand. And after what Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis did during Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers, don't be surprised if there are more guidelines about player-to-player contact. Davis licked his hand and immediately high-fived teammate Avery Bradley, who touched his mouth as well. Both of them then made contact with LeBron James, which is going to freak out germaphobes everywhere.

(Insert puking emoji.)
Davis just disobeyed every medical measure possible in terms of halting the spread of germs. Think about how many hands that basketball has touched. Not to mention, it probably got into a few fans' hands with how late in the game this was.

Here's to hoping every Lakers player now carries hand sanitizer after seeing Davis new handshake.
