Lakers, Clippers and Mavericks Reportedly Interested in Al Horford

It's been reported that Boston Celtics center Al Horford will not exercise his 2019-2020 player option and is expected to leave the team in free agency, making that a second All-Star the C's are prepared to lose.
Horford is passing up a lot of money for a player entering his mid-30s, but he has to feel confident that some team will give him the three- or four-year deal he's seeking.
According to Kevin O'Connor of The Ringer, the Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers and Dallas Mavericks are all showing interest in the veteran big man.
Of those three teams, the Mavs are considered the favorites to sign Horford. Both Los Angeles teams are looking at the higher-end free agents like Kawhi Leonard before looking at the second-tier players like Horford. By then, Dallas may have already ponied up a multi-year deal that's too good to pass up.
Dallas already has Kristaps Porzingis and Dwight Powell on the roster, but the addition of Horford would be invaluable given his veteran presence and defensive prowess.
