By Will Coleman

The basketball world was overcome with emotion last month in response to the sudden death of future Hall of Fame guard Kobe Bryant, his 13-year old daughter Gianna and seven others.
The only game the NBA opted to postpone in wake of Bryant's passing was a meeting between the Los Angeles Lakers and Clippers originally scheduled for Jan. 28, just two days after the tragic helicopter accident. Well, Friday afternoon, league officials confirmed the game's makeup date.

The Lakers and Clippers play each other on March 8 and will meet again just before the conclusion of the regular season.
For the makeup date to have worked out, the NBA rescheduled the Clippers' home game the night before against the Bulls to April 6. The Lakers, however, got the short end of the stick. After their slate of games that week got rescheduled, LeBron James and LA are now set to play five games in a six-day stretch in April.
