VIDEO: Lakers Are Doing Football Workouts to Stay in Shape and LeBron Looks Like a Maniac

The Los Angeles Lakers have returned to practice after the tragic death of Kobe Bryant over the weekend. The team decided to change things up Thursday with an outdoor practice that featured some football drills. LeBron James took part, and it is clear once again that he could have a career in the NFL if he wanted one.

James dropped back in coverage and also showed off his arm strength with some bombs down the field.

It is just tough to tell if he was throwing a small football, or if it just looks small when used by a group of NBA players.

James did play football in high school, and NFL wide receivers might opt to retire at a higher rate if LeBron were roaming in the opposing secondary. He would have also revolutionized the game if he was a quarterback. No one would have been able to stop him.

Some athletes are talented enough to play multiple sports. James is one of those athletes, and NFL players may be thankful he didn't choose football. Just imagine Lamar Jackson if he were 6-9 and 40 pounds heavier.
