Lakers' Jared Dudley Claps Back at 'Semi-Pro' Player Who Tried to Chirp Him

Trash-talking NBA players on Twitter rarely works out for the instigator. It works out even less when they let slip that they are "semi-pro" players. One cocky Lakers fan thought it would be a good idea to needle veteran Los Angeles backup Jared Dudley about the fact he hasn't been doing a ton for the team this season.

The 13-year veteran let this fan hear all about how he couldn't hold a candle to Dudley on a basketball court.

Chances of trash-talking success are even more remote when the instigator could only reach semi-pro status in 2K rather than real-life basketball.

Once he let that fact slip, Dudley had an entire arm of Lakers fans come to his defense, all of whom ripped that fan for punching way above his weight class.

Given how Dudley went right after Ben Simmons in last year's playoffs during his time with the Nets, you can bet he's not going to stop at some Twitter troll. Hopefully the fan in question learned that it's almost impossible to come at a seasoned instigator like Dudley and walk away victorious.
