Celebrities across the globe have been getting creative with the intent to assist relief efforts amid the coronavirus pandemic. Rapper Sean "Diddy" Combs introduced perhaps the most innovative fundraiser to date on Sunday night with his Instagram Live dance-a-thon to help raise money for healthcare workers. Dozens of celebrities joined the stream, including a jubilant LeBron James and his eldest son, Bronny.
Not much dancing transpired during this clip as Diddy offered up some words of encouragement to Bronny. The hip hop artist and LeBron wished good health upon each other's families before the feed cut out.
Diddy later revealed that his dance-a-thon helped raise over $3 million, all of which will be donated to the medical community. A celebrity of James' stature surely played a significant role in the fund-raising process.
Those looking to see a fully-bearded LeBron break out the moves (with a glass of wine in hand), well, we've got you covered.
This is amazing and it stands as yet another example of luminary icons using their platform for the greater good.
Healthcare professionals are working the front lines to defeat COVID-19 and risking their own lives to care for the infected. To say that we are grateful for their contributions would be a significant understatement.
