The defending-champion Raptors have picked up right where they left off to start the season and currently have a 6-2 record. Obviously, they're now without Kawhi Leonard, but Pascal Siakam has looked every bit like a franchise player so far this year, recently coming off a 44-point effort in New Orleans. He'll need to continue this MVP-level play in Los Angeles with Kyle Lowry and Serge Ibaka out due to injuries.
The Lakers are looking every bit as good as advertised through eight games. They're currently on a seven-game winning streak and have the best record in the league. LeBron James and Anthony Davis are playing so well together that both have a legitimate case for MVP thus far. And the team could be set for another boost on Sunday as there's a chance Rajon Rondo makes his debut.

Los Angeles should come away with the win on their home floor, but Toronto is never an easy team to beat, even without some of their most tenacious players.
