Lakers Reportedly Going All-in After Kyrie Irving Despite Brooklyn Buzz

LeBron and Kyrie redux? Don't rule it out! Now that Kyrie Irving is essentially a lock to walk right out of Boston, the increasing conventional wisdom has been that the Brooklyn Nets are ready to move on from D'Angelo Russell for the opportunity to make Uncle Drew their new franchise point guard. But despite such feelings of inevitability, one seemingly erstwhile suitor is actually believed to be still in the mix.

It's only natural that the Lake Show would be on the hunt for a star point guard. With Lonzo Ball out of town, there's a real need for a long-term solution, and while recent reporting has suggested that a D'Angelo Russell reunion could bizarrely, outrageously happen, Kyrie is an NBA champ with a more established track record.
And his familiarity with LeBron James is not to be underestimated here.

At this rate, we could be in for an utterly wild free agent season. Aren't you glad that the signing period begins in the evening on June 30th instead of July 1st at midnight?
Me too, America. Me too.
