Lakers sign Isaiah Thomas from out of nowhere

The Los Angeles Lakers have signed Isaiah Thomas to a new contract. This is certainly something we didn't expect to be typing out with 2022 right around the corner, but that's exactly what happened on Thursday.

The veteran guard has been out of the league this year, but a 42-point showing in the G-League opened the eyes of the people in charge in LA. Now, Thomas indeed is back with the Lake Show.

This is a 10-day deal for Thomas, so he'll have a little bit of time to show what he can do. Lakers fans will wait to see how he performs.
