Lakers Signing DeMarcus Cousins to 1-Year Deal and Bringing Back Rajon Rondo
By Parker White

After just one season with the Golden State Warriors where he was rehabbing from an Achilles injury, free agent center DeMarcus Cousins is on the move, as expected.
The big man has signed a one-year deal with the Los Angeles Lakers, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

It's not Kawhi Leonard, but maybe Boogie Cousins can regain what made him great as a member of the Sacramento Kings and New Orleans Pelicans in Laker Land.
Oh, and Cousins and Anthony Davis are teammates again.

Who knows what Cousins can bring to this team, but he can become a legit third option for LeBron James and Anthony Davis if he returns to full health. We know Cousins can bully his way into the paint and his outside shot has come along in recent years.
Not only that, but the Lakers are bringing back Rajon Rondo, who will likely return as the starting point guard. He's signing a two-year deal.

Rondo proved last year he has plenty left in the tank before his year was shortened due to injuries. He averaged 8 assists per game in 46 contests.
Cousins and Rondo join a big group of veterans the Lakers have signed Saturday morning, as the use up the leftover cap space that was meant for Kawhi Leonard.
