Lakers Signing Quinn Cook After Multiple Veteran Additions
By Parker White

The Los Angeles Lakers missed out on Kawhi Leonard, so they are quickly using that money to build around LeBron James and Anthony Davis.
One of those new additions is point guard Quinn Cook, who according to Yahoo's Chris Haynes, will officially leave the Warriors after he agreed to a two-year, $6 million deal with LA.

Cook joins a host of recently signed Laker role players, including Danny Green and the re-signings of JaVale McGee and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.
These additions, including Cook, can only move the needle so much. With Kawhi waiting this long to sign, all of the impact players had already been taken.
Quinn Cook to the Lakers makes so much sense. He's very close with LeBron James. LeBron has mentored Quinn ever since the point guard attended LeBron's camp as a high schooler. While Cook was a bench player during his time with Golden State, he actually played an important role for them down the stretch and has a lot of experience on a championship-caliber team.
The former Duke guard played in 74 games last season and averaged 6.9 points and 1.6 assists on 46.5% shooting from the field and 40.5% from behind the arc.
