Lakers take down the Warriors in Game 6 to send them home packing

That's all she wrote for the defending NBA Finals champs. On Friday night, the Los Angeles Lakers hosted the Golden State Warriors in Game 6 of their series. Golden State, the favorites entering the series, were hoping to force a Game 7.

LeBron James and Co. had other ideas, as they had no issues at all taking down the Warriors. Now, LA is headed to the conference finals. As for Golden State, the offseason started earlier than they wanted it to.

The Lakers dominated Game 6 and really sent a statement to the rest of the league. James was brilliant in this one too.
