Football fans were treated to some weird content on Saturday when Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson interacted with President Donald Trump on Twitter.
The conversation was hardly scheduled as Trump re-tweeted a post of Jackson's that referenced his draft selection from 2018. The memory included former Louisville teammate Jaire Alexander's celebratory reaction when Jackson was selected No. 32 overall by Baltimore.
The exchange between the unanimous NFL MVP and Trump took everybody by surprise, and the 23-year-old superstar clarified things with a definition from Urban Dictionary.

Well, there you have it.
Jackson wasn't at all showcasing support of the President's re-election efforts with his eye-opening response in which he wrote "Truzz Trump."

Per the former Louisville stud, his reply was nothing more than an ambiguous "thank you."
Trump hasn't necessarily maintained a history of getting along with star athletes, so seeing him interact and applaud Jackson in a peaceful manner was refreshing...even if it was difficult to stomach.
Really nice to see this and, what a great pick! https://t.co/91104h0sd1

With that being said, we could really use a warning the next time Trump decides to reach out to a particular superstar on social media. Enduring the brutality of the coronavirus pandemic is already enough in and of itself.
