Lamar Jackson Leads All QBs in First Pro Bowl Voting Update
By Chris Russo

With the Baltimore Ravens high atop the AFC North, Lamar Jackson is proving his worth as a quarterback after so many doubted his abilities when he was drafted. And now he has more ammo to defend himself against the haters.
Jackson leads all quarterbacks in the first unofficial fan Pro Bowl vote.
Interesting notes on early fan voting for the Pro Bowl: #Ravens QB Lamar Jackson leads all QBs. … #Patriots QB Tom Brady is 9th for QBs. … #Vikings RB Dalvin Cook leads all RBs. … #Cowboys Amari Cooper is 1 at WRs, Michael Thomas is 2. … Nick and Joey Bosa are 1 & 2 for DEs.

The second-year quarterback out of Louisville has earned his top spot after 11 weeks thanks to an 8-2 record, plus a stunning upset of the previously unbeaten New England Patriots.
Jackson has had a perfect passer rating twice this year, a feat only one other player has accomplished.
Now on display at the Hall: the jersey & cleats from @Ravens QB @Lj_era8. These were worn in Week 10 when Jackson became the 2nd QB in @NFL history to record 2 perfect passer rating games in the same season (@_BigBen7 accomplished the same feat in 2007). #RavensFlock | #NFL100 pic.twitter.com/tspqjuyOfN

Baltimore has averaged an unusually good 34.1 points per game, completely uncharacteristic of the team's typical defensive-minded play. Jackson has only averaged under 230 passing yards per game, but he's among the league leaders in rushing -- averaging a remarkable 6.7 yards per rush -- and is a touchdown machine.
With those kinds of numbers, Jackson might even be proving that a college-style offense can succeed in the NFL. He's on pace to reach the Pro Bowl in Orlando, though he could be in South Florida for an even bigger event the week after that.
