Lane Kiffin Reportedly Linked to Ole Miss Job Amid Multiple Rumors of FAU Departure
By Jerry Trotta

Buckle in, folks, because college football's head coaching carousel appears to not have an end in sight.
Ole Miss are presently in the market for a HC after axing Matt Luke following a 4-8, bowl-less 2019 campaign, and it would appear that they have their sights set on FAU boss Lane Kiffin.

Initially, schools like Arkansas and Florida State were heavily linked to Kiffin, but Football Scoops thoroughly believes that the former Alabama assistant has a real shot at becoming the new head coach of the Rebels, and that talks could seriously heat up following FAU's clash against UAB for the Conference USA crown on Saturday afternoon.
Kiffin has certainly enjoyed his time with the Owls as he is vying for his second C-USA championship in three years at the helm, and it remains to be seen if he is pursuing a move to a more distinguished program and conference.

He obviously comes with baggage but Kiffin would bring a recruiting pedigree that, for starters, other candidates would lack, and could help get Ole Miss back on track in the SEC.
Stay tuned for further updates on rumors surrounding Kiffin's potential departure. We'll have a more concrete outline of his future in the days following FAU's tilt vs UAB on Saturday.
