Latest Update on Mitch Haniger’s Injury Sounds Absolutely Disgusting
By Scott Rogust

Seattle Mariners outfielder Mitch Haniger hasn't had the best of luck for the past calendar year. He suffered injury after injury, with the latest being a herniated disc in his back, which required microdiscectomy surgery.
While speaking with the media on Thursday, Haniger revealed that the disc was so bad, his surgeon told him it looked like a piece of sushi.

I'm guessing it was Ahi
We know you gagged reading that, because we did too.
The gruesome-sounding injury will sideline Haniger indefinitely, and he won't be able to lift weights for at least one month. The stud has been a bright spot for the Mariners, a team that hasn't made the postseason since 2001.

Haniger's injury bug has bitten him time after time this past year. During the midway point last season, Haniger took a foul ball to the groin, forcing him to undergo testicular surgery. As Haniger was rehabbing from that ailment, he tore his adductor muscle, requiring yet another medical procedure.
He's faced nothing but bad luck. Unfortunately for the Mariners, they'll have to kickstart their 2020 campaign with him off the field.
