Latest Update on Texans' GM Situation Proves How Incompetent They Are
By Sean Facey

Just when it seemed as though the Houston Texans couldn't become more of a laughingstock, they found a way to out-do themselves.
Following their failed pursuit of Nick Caserio to fill their empty general manger role, the Texans now plan to head into the 2019 season with no general manager at all.
It was a strange week for the Texans, and the strangest aspect of it may be the decision to replace G.M. Brian Gaine with no one at all https://t.co/jF4shpwgdC

That's right, Houston has suddenly gone from expecting their third general manager in three years to no general manager at all.
It's true incompetence at its finest. The Texans seriously trust the likes of Bill O'Brien and Jack Easterby to run this this team in 2019 in addition to their respective roles of head coach and executive vice president of team development.
It's all just senseless.
How are the Texans not getting destroyed? They fired a GM in June after winning a division title because clearly the HC wanted a specific replacement and they whiffed on that person because they did not understand his contract. That is brutal.

They surely would be better off with something rather than nothing. If anything, this feels like yet another feigned attempt at trying to replicate what the Patriots have set up with Bill Belichick operating as general manager.
The Texans seem resigned to their fate rather than ready and willing to pick themselves back up and find another candidate.
