Le'Veon Bell Contract Details

Could Le'Veon Bell be on the move? On Tuesday morning, the New York Daily News' Manish Mehta reported the Jets are looking to trade the speedy back just seven games into his career in East Rutherford.
Keep in mind, the Jets just signed Bell to a monster four-year contract during the offseason. Yet, they're already looking to move on?
Despite signing a four-year, $52.5M contract in March, Le'Veon Bell actually could be moved with little immediate cap headache. A trade would free up space for the Jets, and the team receiving Bell wouldn't have any significant cap numbers to bear until 2020. https://t.co/MEVObAZ9J1

Le'Veon Bell Contract Details
Yup, Bell indeed inked a four-year, $52.5 million deal with New York, which comes out to an average of more than $13 million annually. With his contract, he was guaranteed $27 million at signing, with an $8 million signing bonus from the Jets.
For New York, they're 1-6 on the year and going nowhere fast. If they decide to get rid of Bell, they'd be freeing up quite a bit of cap space for the future. Bell's got a cap hit of $8,968,750 this year, followed by $17 million, $13.5 million and $15 million over the next three years, respectively.
Jets RB Le'Veon Bell is cheap for the rest of 2019 ($1.06M left in base, $281K in per-game rosters), if a team wants to trade for him.

Issue comes next year: He's due $13.5M in '20 ($4.5M roster bonus, $8.5M base, $500K in per-game rosters), most of which is fully guaranteed.
If someone out there, potentially the Chiefs or Eagles, wants to make a move for him, they'll of course have to open up their pocket books for future campaigns.
With the trade deadline hours away, we'll see if Bell stays put or swaps cities.
