Le'Veon Bell's Obsession With the Steelers is Sad and He Needs to Move on Already
By Parker White
It's been well over a year since running back Le'Veon Bell played in an NFL game, as he sat all of last season after not reaching an agreement on a long-term contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
No matter how you feel about that whole situation, it's over and done with and now Bell is a member of the New York Jets. Instead of putting all his focus on this Week 1 matchup against the Buffalo Bills, Bell is still reverting to the past and bringing up Pittsburgh.
“It didn’t work out in Pittsburgh. I’m out of Pittsburgh. And now I’m in a new city, a new team, and a lot of people haven’t even given us a chance cause they don't like our roster,” Bell said, via USA Today. “They think we don’t have the talent. I’m thinking I’m going to show everybody. I’m going to show people that, look, Pittsburgh had something special and they let it go. That’s what I’m going to go out there and do.”
So, we're still thinking about the Steelers? Hey man, they've moved on and are glad they don't have to deal with the drama they endured all last season. Be happy you got paid and embrace your new situation.
Oh, and if Steelers running back James Conner does the job well and helps them win games, Pittsburgh won't have a care in the world as to what former players think.
