Le'Veon Bell Vows to Ignore Reports of Adam Gase Not Wanting to Sign Him
By Scott Rogust

The New York Giants were recently viewed as the most dysfunctional team in the city, before the Jets reclaimed the crown on Wednesday. The team fired general manager Mike Maccagnan and named head coach Adam Gase as their interim general manager.
New York's firestorm would continue, as reports began to leak that indicated that Gase didn't want Maccagnan to break the bank to sign running back Le'Veon Bell. Many believe that this will cause a decrease in team chemistry (after all, Bell's there!), but Bell is assuring everyone that that won't be the case.
The new Jets running back replied to these leaks from the team facility, saying that he's used to false reports like the ones he heard while as a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers, so he's not going to jump to any conclusions.
There’s been a BUNCH of false reports and speculation about me in the past about things I’ve said and done, so I’m used to this. I don’t jump to conclusions when I hear or see a story that may affect me.

Bell continued by saying he has a job to do with the Jets, and that's to win games, no matter who "likes" him or not.
Even if reports are true, that won’t stop me from doing what I came here to do...everyone has a job to do, and I’m gonna do mine whether peopIe “like” me or not. I’m here to win football games.

The situation with the Jets has been a strange one. The organization allowed Maccagnan to spend over $100 million in free agency this offseason, and put him in charge of their draft. Now, just three weeks later, he's been shown the door.

Gase reportedly not only didn't want to spend too much money on Bell, but also new linebacker C.J. Mosley.
Regardless of whether the buzz coming out of the Jets offices in Florham Park, N.J. is true or not, Le'Veon Bell isn't going to allow the noise to bother him. He's committed to the Jets, and he wants to help the team turn the corner.
