By Sam Dunn

LeBron James wasn't even the highest-paid player on his own team until he was almost 30 -- that's a real NBA fact, look it up -- so you've got to think he's happy to see a new generation of stars getting the bag when they're still young. That held true today in the case of Ben Simmons, who locked down a five-year max contract extension with this Philadelphia 76ers.
On the occasion, Bron came with the jokes on IG.

Wow, Ben, you can't even let the King hold five?
Well, he's definitely going to have a heck of a lot more folks out there calling him for "favors" and "investment capital" now that he's got a cool $170 million coming his way.
