VIDEO: LeBron James' Breathtaking Flop Against the Grizzlies Was Acting at its Finest

Flopping in the NBA has been an issue for much of the past decade, and some of the game's biggest stars are frequently criticized for their exaggerated reaction to a slight bit of contact. Even LeBron James, the 6-9, 250-pound superhuman, has displayed some top-tier acting abilities over the years. But on Saturday, James pulled off a flop against the Memphis Grizzlies that was worthy of Oscar nomination. Of course, it was subject to a quality meme created by Yahoo Sports.

Dwyane Wade, Giannis Antetokounmpo and even Tom Hanks couldn't believe it.

James hit the deck as if he'd just taken an uppercut from Tyson Fury. When looking at the slow motion replay, however, it's evident that Brooks just barely grazed LeBron's cheek. Naturally, a foul was called on Brooks.

Unfortunately for LBJ, however, the flop didn't help turn the tide for the Lakers that evening, as they lost to the Grizzlies by the score of 105-88. James dropped 19 points, corralled 10 rebounds and distributed eight assists while shooting 8-for-18 from the field, though no moment from his 34 minutes on the floor was more memorable than this flop.
