LeBron James Gives I Promise School Students 800 Pairs of Sneakers

The charitable acts from LeBron James never seem to end.
Right before leaving Cleveland for Los Angeles, The King decided to utilize the donations from his foundation to open the I PROMISE School. This is a charter school that provides inner-city kids from Akron with a quality education and a full scholarship to college. James continues to donate money to the school, and most recently provided the students with new shoes.

800 pairs of James' newest shoe, the LeBron 16, will be provided to the kids with 10 different colorways available. This is quite the generous act from the Lakers star, as the shoe costs over $100 online.
James is rightfully proud of this recent endeavor, and let his reasoning behind the act be known on Twitter.

It's amazing to see LeBron still so involved with this project especially after his move to West Coast, which goes to show his commitment to the Cleveland community.
