VIDEO: LeBron James Knocks Patrick Beverley Away Like a Gnat During Clippers-Lakers Mini-Fight
By Jackson Thompson
Los Angeles Clippers point guard Patrick Beverley showed some undersized feistiness on Sunday against LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers. But, it backfired pretty quickly and, fortunately for Beverley, mildly as James simply swatted Beverley away like a bug.
After refs blew a whistle, Beverley knocked the ball out of James' hands and got up in his space. James, seemingly uninterested in Beverley's attempts to rattle him, responded by simply flicking the 6-1 point guard backward.
Pat Bev's attempt to instigate some drama against LeBron backfired, and he ended up being the one restrained by his teammates, while James simply looked to continue on with the game.
James and Beverley have been involved in a number of mild skirmishes so far this season, though it seems Beverley frequently end ups getting short side of the stick. Given the way Sunday's game has progressed, it will be Beverley who is fuming in the locker room post game.
